Senior Year!

Oh my goodness gracious, I'm going to be a senior this year! I keep thinking, there is no possible way that I am mature enough.....but whatever, I know how to have fun that's all that matters right? I just want to stay in high school forever. I don't want to have to grow up and become responsible. Responsibility is so over rated! I want to live at home forever, even if we live in a van down by the river! haha okay okay, I realize that I need to grow up. So I guess that's what senior year is going to be all about.
This year I am involved in a few different things. I am doing Allyse's Bridal Fashion Team, where I model their wedding, prom, and formal dresses. That means I have fashion shows, bridal fairs, photo shoots, and I can even design some dresses if I want. I absolutely love doing this! My dream had always been to model, however I never wanted to compromise my standards. I'm so glad that Allyse's Bridal's main focus is modesty. I will never have to worry about feeling uncomfortable in a dress.
I am also involved in Youth City Council. So far it's been a blast. I think it is a great experience for me to get to understand more about the city and help out the community!
At school I am on the Newspaper Staff. I have been since sophomore year and I have loved it every year. I had always been a staff writer, which means I write two articles per paper, get pictures to go with them, and work on the layout and design. For my senior year I decided to take a step forward and become an editor. This gives me a little more work but I think it's worth the experience especially if I want to become a journalist when I am older. While editor, I write one article per paper, get pictures to go along with it, design and layout the paper, edit the other staff writers papers, and help keep the paper organized by assigning articles and running things smoothly.
For senior year I have a lot going on, and going back to school is bitter sweet. However, time is passing by, I'm growing up, and I'm going to enjoy every minute!
Senior year, here I come.
