All in a night's work!

This is what happens when you tell me I can't leave my room till it is clean:

Yes it starts off dirty....VERY DIRTY!

And then I get bored and have to play dress up...While singing to chris brown...
and jumping on my bed dancing!...
and having tons of fun...and no cleaning up
and even more fun!!
But in the end...It all gets cleaned up
even if it takes me hours and hours
Because I was grounded to my room till it was clean, and I had already had way too much fun, so then I was forced to actually clean.
As soon as I was done, I cuddled up to take a nap....not really because I don't normally smile in my sleep. But I can tell you one thing for sure! All that dancing, jumping, and singing sure did wear me out!

Family Update

Stephen:
My dad is still working fo nestle. He loves his job. I honestly don't know much about what is going on with him.....because he gets home when I'm asleep and leaves for work before I get home from school. He has been enjoying going to games with bryan and being a papa of two grandgirls.
Amarilis:
My mom is still working at the same place...I don't really know what she does or what it's called seeing as they change the name constantly. But I do know that she works with her best friend. She spends all of her spare time over at the babies house. She is the best "grandma Lita" ever! She is in Young Womens as the personal progress leader and I absolutly love having her in there with me.
Jen and Phil:
Jen works at the doctors office with Bryan's mother in-law and loves it. Phil still works at the girls school. They are both loving life in their new home with their new ward. Jen has been scrapbooking like crazy and is so amazing at it, and Phil has got some serious lego skills seeing as he plays legos with malia about 3-4 times a day.
Malia:
Mally just had a birthday in January and is now 4 years old. She is just so so funny, and is constantly telling people what to do. :) I absolutely love having her close and we have sleepovers almost every weekend. For her birthday she got a new pink room and a full bed. Lucky dog!
Bryan and Madison:
Bryan and Madie are doing good. They are living in Jen and Phil's basement. They are doing well and are loving their baby.
Amaree:
This little baby isn't so little anymore. She is so darling and is chunkier than ever! She has the cutest smile and so much fun to be with! She loves her aunt court the best and loves having everyone hold her! I absolutely love her!
Courtney:
I am in my Junior year and I already have senioritis. I am ready to move out of high school. bleh. But I am on the newspaper staff and enjoy writing. I love to be with friends but I'm probably with family more often. With two of the cutest neices and fun, game playing family members it's hard to stay away! This may, I will turn 17....FINALLY! I get to fullfill my life long dream! BUNJI JUMPING! I am so excited I can barely stand it!
Grandma Edie:
Grandma edie had a little set back....or should we say vacation...recently. She was in the hospital for about a week but...nothing was wrong with her. However I'm sure she loved all the attention and all the visits from everyone. It makes me sad that now that she lives with us, no one comes to visit her....I promise guys. I don't stink!
Anyway, all in all our family is doing well! we love you all!

My taste buds in action!

Everyone could agree that I am the PICKIEST person they will ever meet. But at the same time, I'm sure everyone would also agree that I eat more than everyone they know....COMBINED! I don't like chocolate cake, brownies, pie, most other cakes, most cereals, most ice creams, spaghetti, lasagna, and almost a million other things. My mom hates cooking dinner because more than half the time I don't eat it. Most people I meet assume that I eat hardly anything, especially once they find out how picky I am. But, they are all wrong. My favorite food is asparagus! I asked my mom to put some in my christmas stocking, but she said no :(. To take you through a typical day...I wake up in the morning and eat first thing. I try to get as much as I can. Then I pack a snack to eat in my classes and pack my lunch. I get to school, snack on my food, eat lunch, and waste my money on vending machines. As soon as I get home I make myself a meal. No, I don't mean a little hot pocket or something, I mean a full on meal, a plate FULL of food! After that I snack for a couple hours (a snack to me is a ramen, a hot pocket, a full head of broccoli and ranch, etc.) then at around 5 or 6 I have yet another meal. After dinner I snack again and then I eat another meal and snack before I am off for bed. I'm a pig. Ask anyone, Kali would easily agree with me. My family hates playing games with me because anytime it's not my turn I'm up searching the cupboards. My sister frequently askes me "can you go one minute without eating?" I can't help it! I'm addicted to food! Food is the best! It's unhealthy how much I eat, but wow...I would be so so bored if I didn't! I'm not one of those girls that gets all embarrased about eating around other people. Food is good, eating is something everyone has to do to stay alive...and I happen to be really good at eating! :) So now that I've finally settled it for all of those who think I'm anorexic.....let's have a party! I'll bring the food :)

update on the past couple of days....because I'm bored:

Friday- Me and Jen went to see Dear John...or maybe that was on thursday...either way, I went with Jen to Dear John!

Saturday-I woke up and went to Valeria's to exercise. bleh. We did some abs and then ran about 1 1/2 miles. Later that night I went to my sister Jen's house to play for a while.

Sunday-I texted Bryan from my mom's phone and asked "will you come over today?" He never comes when I ask him and so I pretended to be my mom. It worked! Madie, Bryan, and Amaree came over! Amaree is probably the most adorable fat baby I've ever seen! Later I went to Valeria's house for chinese new year...yes, most people were probably celebrating Valentine's Day. But I don't have a Valentine and...Chinese New Year means Chinese food! Food over rules any of my other plans. We made some of our guy friends Valentine's Day cards and then ate the night away.

Monday-I woke up and Jen and Malia came over. I went with them to Jen's in-laws (the Schows) and I watched 500 days of Summer (good good movie!). After that I went to Jen's and helped her clean up her house a little. Then I babysat Amaree while Madie and Bryan went out. She just wouldn't stop crying so I decided she's much happier with nothing but a diaper on....that did in fact work. She stoped screaming until I later put her clothes back on because she was freezing cold. Then I got home and Jen, Karen, and I went to Zupas...(I think that's what it's called) then we went to see Valentines day. I was a little dissapointed with the movie because Taylor Lautner didn't take his shirt off :).

Tuesday-I had to go back to school :( but..Kali came home with me and we made a card for Mitch Flygare who is down at primary childrens. We later went up there to visit him and bring him our overly cheesy card.....I hope he knows that we are jokers. If not, he probably just thinks we're creeps. We came home and I went right to bed....at about 8. wow, probably the best sleep of my life.

This saturday I am off for my photo shoot! WOOT! I'm so so so excited!!! other than that....I have a boring week. :(

my paper:

All of us have experienced embarrassment, shame, and self consciousness. Why do we feel these things? Why do we, as teenagers, care so much about what other people think about us? Why do we watch what we do, what we say, and how we act to create an “image”? Well, it’s, in most cases, all about feeling “cool” or should I say “legit”. But really none of that matters. Many people feel that they have to tear others down to obtain this image and make themselves sound better. That seems so backwards.
As a peer tutor I am with a student for one whole class period. I have to make sure that they understand what we are doing and help them gain skills from their classes. One day I was walking down the hall with one of these students. As I was walking down the hall I felt like I was the coolest person in the world. Why? I think it was because I was with one of the most fun people around. They were saying hi to everyone and I’m sure that they weren’t judging any of their peers. They accept each person as they are. I felt like the coolest person in the world, probably because I knew that they didn’t care what I did, what I looked like, how I was acting, or even if I was crazy. I felt so accepted and so comfortable.
Now, imagine the most likeable person you know. What makes them likeable? Achieving that status rank that you want isn’t what you may think it’s all about. If you were to try your hardest to accept everyone and be happy, there wouldn’t be one person that wouldn’t love being around you. I’m sure that the person that you decided was the most likeable person you know, has these same traits. Don’t you wish that you were the person that each of us thought of? Someone once told me, always dance when you are mad. If you follow this guideline then you will be on your way to becoming the person everyone thinks of when they think “likeable person”. I realized that I need to try harder to become a likable person. So, Miss Gardner, I like your red hair. Stephen, you are funny. Jessica, you are so pretty. Julia you are so super smart! Sam, you write amazing papers. And Kali you are a very likeable person. I’m sure I could easily say something about each of you, but I’m sure that we need to go on and hear more occasional papers. However, remember, Dance when you are mad, forget about holding back your real personality, and most importantly have fun!
