Don't wait for a miracle, make one.

So I was watching a movie and in the previews there was a quote that really stood out to me.
"Don't wait for a miracle, make one."
This christmas is the first one ever that I have cared less about presents and more about others. I realized that so many people have so much less then most all of us. We are all in our little world and well....lets face it. It's a selfish world. All we care about is ourselves and what goes on in our lives as well as others close to ours. Well, we are just human. That is how it is for everyone. Have you ever walked down the street and seen all those people and realized that they all have crazy lives just like ours. There are so many people out there and we don't know what they are going through. So, this Christmas don't wait for a miracle, make one. Don't assume that there are people out there that will help others. There can never be enough service in the world. Just think, if everyone in the world donated 25 cents, thats $1 for every 4 people and there are roughly 6,830,586,985 people in the world. thats about $1,707,646,746.5. (and no I didn't get all it that fast. It took me about 20 minutes...not exagerating) Now lets get real. Not everyone will give 25 cents. So, I know that times are hard right now. But maybe keep some change in your pocket everytime you walk into the store. There are people out there at the front of the stores waiting for money. Look for sales, maybe you can buy something and give it to toys for tots. I started a money jar in my house. We all put our spare change in it and we are going to give it to a charity. I honestly realized how much we can do when we put forth little efforts. Give it a try. I promise it will make you feel good. Think of all the lives we can change.
