My new niece is probably the cutest little thing....hmmm....IN THE WORLD!!! She actually looks alot like me when we compare baby picures. awww what a lucky girl. nah I'm just jokin around. She was 7lb 5oz and her name is Amaree Madison Cook. She was born on October 30th the day before halloween. The day before she was born I was in seminary my last class of the day, and I got a text from my mom saying that Madie was being induced...yeah I looked at my phone in seminary I'm such a bad girl! haha! We were speed dating and I just got up and left in the middle of a date! haha I said to my teacher my sister in-law is having her baby and was out of there within seconds. After school Morgan (Madies little brother that is my age) was going to take me to Jen's new house. Obviously that wasn't going to happen. I had my heart set on going to the hospital! So I devised a plan. I was going to go into Morgan's class and say that I was there for newspaper and I needed to interview him then we would just leave. As I was rushing to his class I noticed someones blur that was tall and had a superman backpack...(I didn't have my glasses on) But I knew that must be Morgan! He was standing there looking like he didn't know what to do. We rush out the door and headed to his house to pick up some stuff that Bryan and Madie needed at the hospital. (P.S. he was the one that was rapping at Mcdonalds haha). As we head to the hospital I was trying to figure out what they were going to name her. They had a name chosen but wouldn't tell anyone. Some of their choices were Amaree, Jasmyn, Nike, and Holla. But I was leaning toward Amaree. We get to the hospital and find out that once someone is induced it takes a long time still until they have the baby and that we were just dropping some stuff off and then heading home. We go home and then we find out that they really wern't going to induce her until early the next morning. My heart was broken. I was set on seeing my new baby niece and got so excited and anxious that I had given myself a migrane....for nothing. I had to wait a whole day to see her!!!! Well to ease the pain I talked everyone into letting my other niece Malia sleepover with me even though it was a school day. So, late that night we find out that madie was in more pain and the contractions were coming faster. I told my mom that if she were to get up in the middle of the night that she HAD to wake me up and take her with her. So of course...she just let me keep sleeping and had Madisons mom pick her up and they went to the hospital together. :( When I woke up i had a text from my mom saying Don't tell Jen or Morgan, but Madie had the baby. At first I was furious. I called her and got so mad that she didn't even wake me up. She said that she had been waiting there forever, but I didn't care. I wanted to be there!!!! But then I realized she said don't tell Jen or morgan! WOOT! I was the first to know about it! that made me feel a little bit more special. So, she left me the car. I get up and was ready within 5 minutes. Then Jen called. she wanted me to wait for her to get ready! AHHH I couldn't she still had to shower and everything! Then I found out that I had to pick up Morgan too and wait for him to get ready. Yeah we live 5 minutes away from eachother. But still I wanted to go RIGHT then!!!! I couldn't just sit there and wait for them so I decided that I would leave Malia with my dad and go get donuts for morgan, Jen, and I. I ran to walmart and then had to take a drive. I was in quick mode and so I was in and out of walmart before Jen and morgan were even close to being ready. AHHH! Finally we were on our way!!!! WE got there and I found out that her name was Amaree Madison Cook. Awww I couldn't wait to see her, hold her, and tell her how much I loved her already!!!! As we got there we found out there was a 2 person limit. AHHH I'm always the one that gets left out so I decided to take charge. I said come on morgan, grabbed him and we both went to sign a sheet saying we were going in, as jen got escorted out to the lobby. HAHAHA she hated us both. I held her first. Aw that little face, those little eyes, that tounge that wouldn't stay in her mouth, it was all adorable!!!! I let morgan take a turn holding her and then I took her back. She was so precious and I didn't want to let her go, but jen was waiting and I knew she was already mad! so we left. That day I missed school to see baby and help jen paint her house. On my moms way home from work she stopped to see her. Naturally I was furious!!! I made her tell baby that her favorite auntie Court loved her so much and that we were going to have so much fun together countless times. i called her on the phone just so that I could hear her tell Amaree that. I wanted Amaree to know from day one that her auntie court would spoil her!!! So now they live in Jen and Phils basement which is perfect, then I can come and see both my nieces at the same time. I can play and go crazy with malia and then hold baby Amaree and keep brainwashing her that Court is her favorite! We are so excited about the new addition in our family and can't wait to continue watching her grow into the most beautiful little girl ever!!!
